There are two main types of therapy available;
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy involves working one on one with a therapist to help provide skills and tools to manage the issues which have brought you to therapy. The first session is about the therapist getting to understand your situation, and in conjunction with the client making a plan as to how to move forward. Some of the common types of therapy which are used are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Existential Psychotherapy. Each of these techniques are aimed at gaining strategies to overcome the difficulties for each individual client.
Group Therapy
